1. Who handles your data
The data controller is:
Riccardo Piras
Self-employed (trabajador autónomo)
NIE: Z3319699E
C. los Pintores, 7 — 28923 Alcorcón (Madrid), Spain
E-mail: riccardopiras.coach@gmail.com
For anything concerning your personal data, you can write to the email address above.
2. What data I collect
Data you give me yourself, through the contact form on this site:
- Full name, age range, email address, phone number, country of residence
- How long you've been playing padel, your goals with padel and with strength & conditioning, the programme length you're interested in
- Information about your physical condition: whether you've done strength & conditioning before, whether you've had injuries or surgery, how fit you currently are
- How you came across me and the language you filled in the form in
- If you state that you are under 18: confirmation that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
Purchase data. If you buy a training module, payment takes place on the Gumroad platform, which acts as merchant of record. Your payment card details never pass through this site and I never see them. I only receive the information needed to deliver the product and to meet my tax obligations.
Visit statistics. I use a tool that counts visits in an anonymous and aggregated way, without cookies and without profiling individual visitors. I know how many people visit the site and which pages they look at, not who they are.
3. Why I collect it and on what basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and considering a possible training programme together | Pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Assessing your physical situation in order to propose training that is suitable and safe | Your explicit consent to the processing of health data (art. 9.2.a GDPR), given by voluntarily filling in the form |
| Providing the service or delivering the product you purchased | Performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Issuing invoices and keeping accounting records | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) |
I don't send newsletters and I don't use your data for advertising. I don't sell it and I don't pass it to anyone for commercial purposes.
4. If you are under 18
If you state that you are a minor, the form asks you to confirm that a parent or legal guardian agrees: without that confirmation you cannot continue. Before starting any programme I personally check that the consent genuinely exists. If you are a parent and believe a minor has sent me their data without your consent, write to me: I will delete it immediately.
5. How long I keep the data
- If you write to me but we don't start a programme together: I keep your data for 24 months from our last contact, then delete it. This period is useful because people who contact me often get back in touch the following season, and being able to recall the context of that first conversation helps us both.
- If you become a client: I keep the data for the whole duration of our working relationship and, afterwards, for the period required by Spanish tax and accounting obligations.
- You can ask me to delete it at any time, even before these deadlines.
6. Who else sees your data
To run the site and the service I rely on a few providers, which process the data on my behalf and only for the purposes described here:
- Netlify — hosts the site and collects contact form submissions
- Gumroad — handles payments and the sale of digital products
- Google — the email service I reply to you with, plus the YouTube videos and map embedded in the site
- The provider of the technology platform that runs the RP - Padel Coach app, where you receive your training
- The anonymous statistics service for the site
- My tax adviser, for statutory accounting requirements
Some of these providers are based, or have servers, outside the European Union. In that case the transfer takes place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by European law.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask me to:
- tell you what data I hold about you and give you a copy
- correct it, if it is wrong or incomplete
- delete it
- restrict its use, or object to the processing
- give it to you in a readable format, so you can take it elsewhere
- withdraw the consent you gave me, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal
Just write to riccardopiras.coach@gmail.com. I reply within one month.
If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
8. Cookies
This site does not use profiling cookies and does not need a consent banner: visit statistics are anonymous and cookie-free.
A few exceptions remain, and they depend on external services: the embedded YouTube videos (loaded in reduced-tracking mode), the Google map and the Instagram video in the Services section. The latter is not loaded until you click: until then the site does not contact Instagram in any way. If you choose to open it, or if you interact with the others, those services may set their own cookies, governed by their respective policies.
The site also stores one small technical preference in your browser: the language you chose, so you find it again on your next visit. It serves no other purpose and does not identify you.
9. Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and holds no data archive of its own: requests sent from the form go straight to my inbox and to the platform hosting the site.
10. Changes to this policy
If anything changes in the way I handle data, I will update this page and the date at the top. It is worth checking back from time to time.
